Description:
The interior solution of the D18 house was developed by our studio together with the architectural solution. This made it possible to subordinate two blocks of work to each other, to find the perfect balance between technical limitations and aesthetic considerations, and to create a living space that fully meets the requirements of future residents.
The total volume of the house is divided into functional blocks by floor. The compact area of the first floor housed technical and family rooms. On the second floor there are private rooms with access to a common terrace. On the third floor there is a multifunctional space for leisure activities, created by a combination of open and closed areas.
The concept of the first floor solution is based on maintaining a sense of spaciousness. There are no walls separating the kitchen and living room, unnecessary decorative partitions that hide communications, and other restrictions - the combined zone of the kitchen, dining room and living room creates a space open for creativity and communication. The staircase area is also integrated into the living room space as an integral part of it due to transparent railings and a storage system in the space under the stairs. Wide sliding windows blur the line between the landscaped courtyard area and the living room, expanding the space and letting maximum sunlight into the house. Through them it is convenient to go out into the yard to enjoy morning coffee in the fresh air or to organize a family dinner in the yard.
Functional zoning of the family space on the first floor is carried out through the arrangement of furniture groups, a combination of textures and materials, as well as various lighting scenarios. The fireplace zone plays a special role in creating the atmosphere - a drop-shaped floating bowl acts as an accent in the interior, forming a cozy relaxation area around itself and filling the living room with lively soft light.
