Description:
Right after the entrance of the store, visitors’ attention is attracted by the ceiling. The smooth long white ceiling frieze encircles zones with pastries and ready-to-eat products. It is made in two levels in order to built-in a diffused backlight – that gives the frieze the sense of lightness and weightlessness. We refused the use of trivial false ceilings and retained the height of the existing ceiling. Thus, the shop space was filled with air; existing communications do not distract due to the same with the ceiling color. Organized lighting groups emphasize the dynamism and orderliness of the space. We designed them in a purpose to provide required light quality to each functional zone. And at the same time, lamps form rhythmic spatial compositions, which gives the interior of the SPAR store a special appeal.
