Situated on scenic landscape, this house complements the outstanding and varied existing terrain of the site. Surrounded by low-rise developments in the north, east and west, the site reveals a breath-taking view on endless game of heights and lows of agricultural fields in the south.
Site terracing, formed by retaining walls, terraces and slopes, creates embedded platform under the clean form of the building for living and rest. In the south, main part of the building rises above the existing landscape so the house windows command an unforgettable view. Feeling of weightlessness and unity with nature doesn’t leave you.
The diversity of the environment is merged into seamless whole with the geometry of the house. They cannot exist without each other in this project. Nature comes through the inner space and the space enhances the surrounding nature. House covering is a background for picturesque surroundings aimed at meeting all the colours of nature. High stained glass windows and sliding glass doors enable to deepen the feeling of unity with nature and landscape. Air and light penetrate the building without any barriers and limitations.
Comfortable living space, formed by the combination of straight geometry, developed landscape, textures and scenery contrasts, favours harmonious coexistence of people and environment.
