Description:
The residential building reconstruction. The original architectural design was an unremarkable symmetrical volume. Customers turned to us to create a unique home with a distinct character. When solving this problem, it was required to preserve the already erected house (walls and roof).
Our proposed solution is aimed at visually changing the shape of the structure. Protruding terraces, docked with the main volume, add dynamism to the house. The extended volume of gallery-type terraces organizes an entrance group with a permanent canopy, a dining area and recreation areas. The structure of the terrace canopy is based on a metal frame. Sliding sun awnings are installed between its beams to regulate the amount of sunlight on the terrace. The metal frame acts as a support for the balconies of the second floor. The final touch in the formation of the brutal appearance of the house is a completely black color scheme of the architectural volume. Compositional diversity is achieved by the play of textures of burnt wood and metal surfaces of various treatments.
Provided that the original volume of the building was preserved, we managed to radically change the appearance of the house. In combination with the developed landscaping, the house acquired its distinctive brutal character.
