Description:
Due to the trading format change of the MINIMAX store it was necessary to completely rearrange both spatial and concept style solutions. We started our design process by changing the design-concept of the shop. We suggested to use a calm color scheme instead of flashy red and yellow colors, which are generally associated with sales and low-price stores. White color brought the interior a sense of cleanliness and orderliness, calm blue and beige became accent colors. We also developed a new planning solution. It is based on the space visual division into two blocks: cash desks separate the clothing zone from the zone of household goods. We designed all the trade equipment and furniture, developed the store’s lighting scenarios. Thus, the store’s style concept reflects the updated trading task of the chain – to reach a new trading level due to the change of assortment and due to the sematic message change carried by the trading space.
